Sripuram is a breathtaking modern spiritual park situated at the foot of a small range of green hills. Its crown jewel is the Sri Lakshmi Narayani temple, whose Vimanam and Ardha Mandapam are coated completely in pure gold—reportedly using over 1,500 kilograms of gold foil, making it one of the largest golden structures in the world.

Historical ManagementA modern marvel inaugurated in 2007, conceptualized and built under the guidance of spiritual leader Sri Sakthi Amma. It is managed by the Sri Narayani Peedam, an organization deeply involved in large-scale social welfare, healthcare (running hospitals), and educational initiatives.
The History
Unlike ancient temples with millennia of history, Sripuram represents a modern renaissance of devotional architecture. The temple was built in just seven years by hundreds of artisans specializing in traditional temple art and gold crafting, fulfilling the vision of Sri Sakthi Amma to create a center that draws people toward spirituality and righteousness.
Sacred Architecture
A 1,500 kg Golden Marvel
The temple is built utilizing traditional Dravidian architectural guidelines but with a spectacular modern twist: the copper base is covered in multiple layers of thick gold foil. The shrine is positioned at the center of a massive, meticulously landscaped star-shaped path known as the Sri Chakra. This 1.8 km walkway is bordered by messages of truth and righteousness, physically guiding devotees through a path of spiritual reflection before they can lay eyes on the dazzling golden sanctum.Legend of the Deity
The presiding deity, Goddess Lakshmi Narayani, is the supreme embodiment of wealth, prosperity, and well-being. According to the institution's teachings, she represents the combined divine feminine energy (Shakti) that nurtures and sustains the universe. The main idol in the sanctum is a stunning 70-kilogram solid gold statue of the Goddess.
Worship & Rituals
The temple complex is unique in its sheer scale of organization and immaculate cleanliness. While traditional Poojas are performed by priests, a major highlight for devotees is the Swarna Pushparchana (worship using golden flowers), which devotees can perform themselves to a smaller idol of Swarna Lakshmi. The temple also heavily emphasizes 'Anna Dhanam', feeding thousands of visiting pilgrims daily.
Because of its recent construction, its 'folklore' revolves around the miracle of its creation. It is widely whispered that the sheer amount of gold (1.5 tons) used in the construction was accumulated through anonymous, unsolicited donations from devotees worldwide, inspired purely by the spiritual aura of the Peedam. Additionally, the complex is renowned as an 'Eco-Miracle,' having transformed what was once a barren landscape into a lush, zero-waste, eco-friendly oasis.

Festivals
Navaratri is the most extravagant festival here, drawing hundreds of thousands of devotees. Diwali (the festival of lights) and Varalakshmi Vratam are also celebrated with unprecedented grandeur, perfectly fitting for the Goddess of Wealth. The anniversary of the temple's inauguration is another massive local celebration.
